About Us!!
Our Mission
The BE A MUSHROOM (BAM) Foundation—founded by former NFL player Jerome Daniels and his wife Lisa—exists to break cycles of poverty by equipping young people and families with the tools they need to thrive. Through financial literacy education, mental health support, mentorship, and strategic community partnerships, BAM empowers individuals to overcome challenges, build lasting stability, and realize their full potential.
What We Do
- We work with communities, organizations, and groups providing structured Financial Literacy curriculum for youth and their families.
- Our Road to Riches Financial Literacy program powered by Money Vehicle, LLC takes youth and their families through the first 12 steps of the financial journey.
- We provide easy to use learning tools that are web based in English and in Spanish to create an inclusive environment for learning.
- We support mental health by engaging and mentoring youth in our programs by introducing them to unique opportunities within their communities.
- We bring people together and raise funds for our foundation by hosting events like car shows and markets to raise awareness and support for local programs.
- The money we raise is put directly back into our programs - providing software, scholarships, mentorship, and fieldtrips for those engaged in our programs.
- Our current partnerships include the City of Chandler Housing and Urban Development Department and the East Valley Institute of Technology Adult Education Program.
Our flagship program, the Road to Riches Financial Literacy Program powered by The Money Vehicle is an opportunity for anyone ready to take charge of their financial future—with practical, engaging lessons they can use for life. We work directly with:
- Teachers and after-school program directors
- Financial institutions
- Pastors, youth leaders, and coaches
- City and government partners

Join Us THIS December 13th for the Road to Riches - Santa at City Hall Car Show and Holiday Market!!
The BAM Foundation and the City of Chandler are thrilled to bring you the Road to Riches Santa at City Hall Christmas Car Show & Holiday Market on December 13th!
Because our foundation is all about supporting local youth, we’re adding extra fun for kids:
✨ Pictures with Santa at our North Pole photo area
✨ A free Santa’s Workshop with holiday arts & crafts
That’s just the beginning! You’ll also enjoy:
🍔 Food trucks serving up local favorites
🛍️ Vendors with holiday gifts & goodies
🚗 200–300 of the coolest cars in the City Hall Parking Garage (plus a brand-new motorcycle & Ryker 3-wheel category!)
Car Show Details:
- Each car gets two display spaces to show off their pride and detail.
- Every registration is entered for prizes and awards.
- Each vehicle MUST bring a new, unwrapped toy for Santa’s Toy Drive.
💡 Sponsorships and vendor spots are still available!
🎟️ Pre-register your vehicle for just $25 + one unwrapped toy using the QR code.
🕗 Setup begins at 8:00 AM for cars and vendors.
This event is FREE for the whole family to attend (food and merchandise prices are set by each vendor).
