We believe opportunity shouldn’t be limited by access. When students are given guidance, real-world experiences, and trusted mentors, they gain the confidence and skills needed to thrive—academically, professionally, and personally.
Our flagship initiative, the Morel Mushroom Mentorship & Scholarship Program, supports motivated high school seniors and postsecondary students as they prepare for their next step—whether that’s college, trade school, or entry into the workforce.
Each program cycle, we select a cohort of students who demonstrate strong character, commitment, and a desire to learn. These students are paired with business leaders, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, and industry professionals who provide mentorship, career exposure, and practical insight into today’s workplace.
Participants develop essential, lifelong skills including:
Professional communication, confidence, and accountability
Job readiness, mock interviews, and career planning
Financial literacy, budgeting, credit, and money management
Goal setting and career pathway exploration
Relationship building and long-term network development
Learning Beyond the Classroom
Students gain hands-on exposure to a variety of industries through site visits, career days, and immersive learning experiences hosted by our partners. These experiences introduce students to how organizations operate—from leadership and operations to customer service, skilled trades, finance, and entrepreneurship.
By seeing real workplaces and engaging directly with professionals, students learn what it takes to succeed—and where their interests and talents can take them.
Scholarships that Reward Committment
Students in the program are eligible to earn scholarship funding based on participation, consistency, and demonstrated growth.
Scholarships are designed to reduce barriers and support students as they transition into higher education, certification programs, or career pathways.
